Hosting a bridal luncheon or shower doesn’t have to be overcomplicated. Sometimes simple is simply, beautiful.  Today I’m sharing my tips for hosting a shower. For example, a curtain {shown}, sheet or painter’s canvas makes an easy tablecloth.

This lavender tablescape includes a free printable {and customizable} to go bag menu!  We encourage using items that serve multiple functions.  Centerpieces can be gifted to the guest of honor or prizes for those who win games.  Miniature cakes make beautiful edible centerpieces!

A signature drink is not only easy, but beautiful too!  Consider lemonade or sparkling lemonade garnished with lavender.  A drink dispenser or a beverage bar allows guests to help themselves and you to enjoy the afternoon!  Rethink pieces {like this trifle} and turn them into functional pieces.
A glass bucket of ice.
A table set with white plates, silverware, lavender, and lemonade.
For favors, consider something edible like meringues, cupcakes or iced sugar cookies or something that guests will be able to use at home, like lavender pots.
