Last weekend I made one of our favorite “family” recipes. Chances are you’ve had it, too. It’s a classic!

In fact, I always think I’m making too much of this fruit dip as I whip up a batch. But whether I’m taking it to a summer barbecue or hosting a shower, the bowl is always empty at the end.

It’s the perfect compliment to a beautiful fruit platter or these adorable fruit skewers.

When I was a kid, we used a lot of cool whip for fruit. I promise, this is so much better than cool whip could ever dream to be!

You can whip up this dip in just a couple minutes. It’s so simple, yet so good. I enjoy mine with a splash of vanilla! This dip is always a hit!

How to Make Cream Cheese Fruit Dip

  1. Combine Ingredients – Simply combine softened cream cheese, marshmallow fluff and vanilla until smooth.

Tips

  • I’m not a fan of food coloring in most situations, so adding a little strawberry, orange or cherry flavor also gives you a touch of color variation too!
  • You can beat the cream cheese first to create an even airier, creamier consistency if you’d like. It takes this fluffy cream cheese dip to a whole new level!
  • Want to make more? Simply use the yield tab in the printable recipe card and the ingredients are multiplied for you – no math required!
  • You can warm marshmallow fluff 30 seconds in the microwave to make it easier to work with.

How to Store

  • Room Temperature – This fruit dip can be left out on the counter for up to two hours while serving, prior to refrigeration.
  • Refrigerate – Store in an airtight container or in a bowl covered with saran wrap for up to five days refrigerated. It’s a great make ahead dip for entertaining!
  • Freezer – Unfortunately you should freeze Cream Cheese Fruit Dip. Cream cheese can separate as the water and solids freeze, so the dip loses that creamy texture we all love and becomes a touch grainy.
