Music Themed Wedding

Jen and Kennie’s September wedding in Kansas City, Missouri was infused with lots of fun and funky details and personal elements.  You may remember them from their record store engagement session or their completely unique save the date by Wirken Films.
Personalized Chucks for the groom and groomsmen?  Of course!
The ceremony took place as beautiful Redemptorist – Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
The bride and groom’s love for music was infused into every aspect of the reception.  The groom’s father created a framed case, showcasing two records for guests to sign in lieu of a traditional guest book.
We wanted an area for children attending to play and hang out, so we created a space just for them!  The table was lined with kraft paper so they too could get creative.

We incorporated a variety of centerpieces to add interest to the space.  All were displayed on vinyl records.

The Foundation Room was the perfect space for my clients.
Records and custom cutouts decorated the cake.
Thanks to our wonderful assistant who graciously hung a series of records over the dance floor to complete the look.
