DIY Spring Flowers

Beautiful flower arrangement in just 10 minutes

I almost always have fresh flowers in our home. It’s a little treat to myself that brings me a lot of joy, for very little expense. Just one bouquet can fill the home with a beautiful scent and a hint of color. A single bloom in the powder room, a few blooms in the family room and kitchen and everything feels more beautiful. When we have guests, I’ll spend about $10 and make an arrangement for the breakfast room table as well. When I went to pick up ingredients for dinner Friday, I saw a bag of beautiful Meyer lemons for just $1.99. I was elated. In Missouri, Meyer lemons are the sign that spring is coming. I paired them with one of my favorite spring flowers – freesia, and seeded eucalyptus, to create another $10 spring flower arrangement.

I love how flowers not only make a room feel special, but your guests as well. They show that you went to effort to welcome them into your home. These spring flowers are easily accessible, nearly effortless to arrange, and yet again less than $10. This floral arrangement is perfect for any spring occasion – a luncheon, shower, Easter, and Mother’s Day.

  • Thank you for the inspiration!! I have a photo assignment for indoors and outdoors. My sweet sister-in-law sent me huge box of lemons from their yard. How perfect to capture their beauty in an arrangement. If it turns out I can make her a watercolor!!

Thank you, Marisa! i’m sure you’l create something beautiful. I would LOVE to have lemon trees in our yard, but living in Missouri, I have to try my hand at a tree indoors. I would love to see your watercolor! Have a beautiful day.
