25 Side Dishes for Salmon: Make this White Wine Lemon Basil Pasta

This easy lemon basil pasta recipe is quick enough for a weeknight dinner, but tastes special enough for date night! It’s on the table in 15 minutes, and it serves beautifully as a main dish or a side dish – especially with seafood.

Ingredients  

  • 3 tablespoons butter salted
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • ½ cup white wine
  • ¼ cup fresh basil sliced thin
  • ½ cup parmesan freshly grated
  • 16 ounces pasta
  • fresh cracked salt and pepper to taste

Instructions 

  • Bring a pot of salty water to a boil. Prepare pasta al dente. Reserve a little warm pasta water in case you'd like to thin the sauce out a bit later.
    16 ounces pasta
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and add garlic. Reduce to medium low heat sauteeing for just 1-2 minutes.
    3 tablespoons butter, 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • Add lemon juice and cooking wine, and stir until warm.
    ½ cup lemon juice, ½ cup white wine
  • Gently toss the sauce with warm drained pasta.
  • Top with parmesan, basil, and big cracks of salt and pepper from a grinder.
    ¼ cup fresh basil, ½ cup parmesan, fresh cracked salt and pepper

  • How to Store – Refrigerate in an airtight container up to 3 days. Top with fresh basil just before serving.
