If there’s one thing I know from experience, it’s that white paint colors are more complicated than they might seem at first glance. That’s why I love sharing my favorite paint colors with readers!

This process can be difficult, but I’m here to help. Today, I’m rounding up my 10 favorite Benjamin Moore whites. From warmer shades with a hint of gray, beige or greige in the background, to clear, bright whites, I’m sharing them all!

Tips

  • Keep in mind that white reflects surrounding colors. If you have a lot of natural light with trees through your windows, you’ll see more green. If your furnishings are blue, your walls might reflect that too!
  • Light bulbs can also make a difference in the appearance of your white paint colors.
  • Shades of white will appear lighter and brighter in exterior paint applications. Always start with Paint Samples!

I think this soft shade of white works beautifully in our modern lake house and I’m so glad we took the leap. It’s one of the whitest whites available from Benjamin Moore, but it doesn’t have significant undertones and works well in a variety of spaces.

We liked it so much at the lake that we added it to our St. Louis dining room recently, too. It’s such a pretty, clear soft white!
