  • When you’re a kid, you want to be a part of the celebration, not at a separate table brushed to the side of the room. Unless, it’s made into a party! A fun area just for kids! What kid doesn’t love a party? If you can’t include them at the table, incorporate a few simple things just for them.

    Tips for hosting holidays - with kids! An elegant Easter party via julieblanner.com photographed by Alea Lovely
    I created an Easter buffet – just for the kids.
    Adalyn’s Easter basket was perfect for holding the sugar cookie favors – pink bunnies to go with the theme. The pin board creates an easy backdrop.
    And the cinnamon rolls? Bunny shaped and loaded with icing just for them! {ps, these are simply the best. Make sure you follow the link to the recipe!}
    I created the banner above printing letters on cardstock, cutting them out adding the “ducktail” or flag detail and adhering them with double stick tape to ribbon. It couldn’t be any easier!
    Adalyn enjoyed her milk in recycled Starbucks bottles with a strawberry straw – her favorite!
    The girls wore tulle dresses in petal pink. Aren’t they sweet?
    Bunny shaped placed cards were adorned with ranunculus bunny tails.
    When hosting a party or decorating for a holiday, I always look to what I have first. This little lamb was Chris’ when he was a baby.
    Aniston also posed with it in her newborn photos. It’s fun to see her with it a year later.
    This nest usually rests on our bookcases in the living room.
    Are we really allowed to eat these Bakery Sugar Cookies?
    Yes? don’t mind if I do!
