Spring entertaining is so refreshing, because it brings on a soft palette of subtle colors. Often, our Easter table setting is inspired by what we can find outside, beginning to bloom in the garden. Or, perhaps we are inspired by the fresh flowers at the grocery store!

Easter Table Decorations

This Easter, I’m keeping it casual with my everyday dishes, but you can never go wrong with classic white. I always keep my Easter table decorations minimal, so I can enjoy the day going to church & hunting Easter eggs with the girls.

Hardboiled eggs dyed in the softest blue and natural brown eggs filled apothecary jars for simple decor along with a preserved boxwood wreath.

I had originally planned to plant grass for my Easter table, but never found the time. As an alternative, I filled a wooden box, which cheese comes in at the grocery store, with hardboiled eggs and loose tulips!

To recreate this look, fill a box with fabric to build up the space, add eggs and insert fresh cut tulips {or your flower of choice}. It’s perfectly imperfect.

The following year, I set another pretty Easter table with influences from our redbud in the yard and these charming bunnies we found.

Using standard egg cups, I filled them with a little water and Spanish moss to give them a nested feel. Then, I tucked in snips from my redbud tree, creating pretty place settings in just a minute.

The soft pinks are a beautiful contrast to my standard Easter blue, that I don’t think I can ever shy away from. Dusty blue just feels quintessential Easter to me.

Easter Kids Table

When you’re a kid, you want to be a part of the celebration, not at a separate table brushed to the side of the room. Unless, it’s made into a party! A fun area just for kids! What kid doesn’t love a party? If you can’t include them at the table, incorporate a few simple things just for them.

So, I created a buffet, just for the kids. Adalyn’s Easter basket was perfect for holding the sugar cookie favors – pink bunnies to go with the theme. The pin board creates an easy backdrop.

And the cinnamon rolls? Bunny shaped and loaded with icing just for them! {ps, these are simply the best. Make sure you follow the link to the recipe!}

I created the banner above printing letters on cardstock, cutting them out adding the “ducktail” or flag detail and adhering them with double stick tape to ribbon. It couldn’t be any easier!
