  • Funfetti truly makes everything more fun, like a party, doesn’t it? I have a feeling it’s the reason Ani begs for a sprinkle donut every morning. The colorful addition of sprinkles to a cookie cake makes it feel festive, without additional effort.

This funfetti cookie cake is made from scratch, in minutes. No cake mix needed, just staple ingredients for a delicious thick, chewy cookie cake you’ll crave.

The dish you use gives it more of a cake like texture, but this recipe gives it a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth flavor that will have everyone raving. Sprinkles swirled into the dough are much like our home – cream with a pop of color!

After pressing the dough into the dish, I sprinkle a few extra on top, cover with a sheet of parchment paper and press them into the dough for that picture perfect quality! Sooooo much easier than cake decorating, don’t you think? Speaking of, these can be frosted with buttercream, but it’s perfectly delightlful on it’s own.

I’m so thrilled that this popular heart shaped tart dish is finally available again! You can also make it in this darling ruffle heart pie dish or in a pizza or cake pan.
