  • Easy to Make – This cinnamon cream cheese is so simple, and ready in just two minutes.

Ingredients and Substitutions

See printable recipe card for complete ingredients and instructions.

  • Cream Cheese – Full fat cream cheese is our family favorite, but you can use your favorite type of cream cheese, including lower fat options. Learn how to soften cream cheese here!
  • Cinnamon – Use a high quality ground cinnamon in this recipe. With so few ingredients, each one will shine!
  • Sugar – White granulated sugar works well here, though you can sub with powdered sugar if that’s what you have on hand.

Variations

  • Try subbing the cinnamon and sugar with this apple pie spice or pumpkin pie spice for a seasonal cream cheese blend!
  • Use powdered sugar instead of granulated for an even smoother finish. Learn how to make powdered sugar here.

Tip

  • Mix By Hand – No blender or food processor? No problem! Simply use a container of whipped cream cheese. Because it’s softer and has more air already, it will be much easier to mix in the cinnamon and sugar.

How to Store

  • Room Temperature – Leave this cinnamon cream cheese out for up to two hours safely while serving.
  • Refrigerate – Store in an airtight container up to a week.
  • Freezer – This cream cheese can be frozen for up to three months, but it won’t be as creamy when it defrosts so we don’t recommend it. For more information, read our guide to Can you Freeze Cream Cheese?
