Strawberry cream cheese is the sweetest, most delectable addition to your morning routine. It’s for more than just bagels, too! Spread it on muffins, breads, and all your favorite pastries.

It makes an incredible fruit dip, too! I dare you to try and stop eating this deliciously blended cream cheese.

It’s the perfect pink color, and with only three ingredients, it is as easy to make as it is beautiful to serve. Strawberry cream cheese is one of those things you can buy pre-made in the store – but once you make it at home, it’s hard to reverse course!

Strawberry Cream Cheese

It’s cream, dreamy and so quick to throw together. It’s also the perfect shade of pink – and who can argue with that? Not us!

Why You’ll Love It

  • Wholesome – Cream cheese has calcium, vitamin A, and protein! That makes it a good fit for a balanced diet in moderation.
  • Easy to Make – This strawberry cream cheese is so simple, and ready in just minutes.
  • Flexible – Use more or less cream cheese depending on the consistency you’d prefer.

Ingredients and Substitutions

See printable recipe card for complete ingredients and instructions.

  • Cream Cheese – Full fat cream cheese is always best, but you can use your favorite type of cream cheese. Learn how to soften cream cheese here!
  • White Granulated Sugar – For the perfect hint of sweetness.
  • Fresh Strawberries – You can substitute frozen strawberries if necessary, but the moisture content will be a little different. Use a little less if you go with frozen!

Variations

  • Mix up your berries! Try raspberries, blueberries or blackberries. Just make sure you have approximately one cup of fruit, as the recipe indicates.
  • Use powdered sugar instead of granulated for an even smoother finish. Learn how to make powdered sugar here.

Tips

  • Fruit Mixture – Substitute with any of your favorite fruits or berries.
  • Mix By Hand – If you don’t have access to a mixer or food processor, use whipped cream cheese. Because it’s softer and has more air already, it will be significantly easier to mix in the fruit and sugar.
  • For a thicker cream cheese spread, add another half block of cream cheese (4 ounces). We tried this recipe both ways and enjoyed it at both consistencies – it’s your call!

Serving Suggestions

How to Store

  • Room Temperature – Leave this strawberry cream cheese out for up to two hours safely while serving.
  • Refrigerate – Store in an airtight container up to a week.
  • Freezer – This cream cheese can be frozen for up to three months, but it won’t be as creamy when it defrosts so we don’t recommend it.
