Strawberry Pinot Reduction

Strawberries pair well with Pinot Noir as well as ice cream, but would you have guessed that together they make a lethally delicious trio?

Servings (hover to scale): 6


  • 1/2 cup strawberries sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup Pinot Noir
  • 1/2 cup sugar


  • In a sauce pan over medium heat, add strawberries, wine and sugar. Reduce 10+ minutes.
  • As with any reduction, the longer you cook it, the thicker and more syrupy it gets.
