My beer bread mix is great to keep on hand during the holidays – mix it up on a whim, or package it as an easy gift. This 4 ingredient mix takes just minutes to put together.

My classic beer bread recipe makes a wonderful gift when it’s fresh baked, of course! However, creating this beer bread mix means the recipient can then enjoy fresh baked bread on a whim.

Add a stick of butter and a bottle of beer to a gift basket with this mix, and it’s ready to go! I’m including a free printable gift tag, too – which makes gifting even easier!

I’m always thinking about quick and easy gifts that I know my friends and family will enjoy. I like to keep things on hand for those last-minute lunches or party invitations.

Everyone loves freshly baked bread, but not everyone makes it! This mix is an excellent gift for friends, neighbors, and anyone on your list this year.

Test Kitchen Tips

  • Beer – Use your favorite beer. I like to use a craft brown ale or porter that have stronger flavors, but a lager will also work well.
  • Sift – I recommend that you sift the flour before mixing it in with the other ingredients. It makes it lighter and easier to combine with the other dry ingredients.
  • Store – Store it in an airtight container or in a plastic gifting bag. It will keep well for 2 to 3 months.

Free Printable Label

I created these labels to package this beer bread mix as a gift. Download the free printable label that coordinates with the Martha Stewart Avery Labels 72433. You can also use standard Avery labels and cut them to size.

Gift Basket Suggestions

Fill a gift basket with the packaged beer bread mix, a bottle of beer, a stick of butter and our instructional gift tag! One of these gorgeous flavored butters or honey recipes is also a wonderful addition.
