Learn how to make the simplest, most charming holiday centerpiece with inexpensive wreaths! Christmas wreaths are for more than just your front door – they’re for your Christmas table settings, too.
This centerpiece is affordable and can be thrown together in just a few minutes!
It’s easy to get caught up in the fast pace of the holidays, but in all of the hustle and bustle, I prefer to find simplicity in the season.
I gradually decorate, listen to Christmas music 24/7 and scramble at the last minute on a fun-filled day of shopping for Christmas gifts.
I also look forward to entertaining a little more and getting together with family and friends. If you find yourself scrambling to entertain guests, don’t fret, just relax and enjoy them.
Nothing puts guests at ease like a casual hostess. You really don’t need much, just a couple bottles of wine and bags of Brookside Chocolates. Everything else is secondary!
I love putting a simple holiday centerpiece together when we host guests. Nothing elaborate, entailed or expensive, just a little something to make the table feel special. So today I’m sharing another 5 minute centerpiece and a few last minute entertaining ideas, so turn on my Holly Jolly Playlist and let’s get started, shall we?
I am somewhat of a minimalist, but aside from wine and Brookside Dark Chocolate, I also keep a variety of pillar and taper candles on hand. They’re perfect for a last minute centerpiece. A few candles and anything organic create a beautiful statement in minutes, without a lot of effort.
I decided to make this simple holiday centerpiece with basic wreaths I found at the grocery store (hardware stores carry them as well), but you can also use any garland which is easy to find this time of year.
Supplies:
pillar candles in various sizes
2 taper candles and candlesticks
5 small wreaths or 1 roll of garland
How to:
Stagger wreaths or wrap garland on the table.
Add pillar candles.
Add candlesticks.
Add chocolate. Always add chocolate.
Optional: intertwine battery operated twinkle lights to make it feel magical.
I keep our bar cart stocked with Brookside Dark Chocolate in my apothecary jars and of course our bar cabinet is always stocked with red wine, which pair well together. Whether I’m making homemade pasta or ordering pizza, this simple centerpiece {which lasts all month, into January} and chocolates make guests feel special.
My mom’s crystal also makes a beautiful bud vase on a whim.
Cheers to a beautiful holiday season! You can pin these pretties for later!
Why didn’t I see this sooner, because its so fabulous, I would have loved having this design on my table two nights ago. I just took pictures so I can use this gorgeous design next time. Thanks fr sharing. Happy New Year!
I plan to keep ours throughout January since the blue berries feel so wintery. I hope you have a beautiful New Year!
Those little wreaths are so adorable, Julie! I love those pomegranate chocolates so much, I even have my kids addicted to them. ๐
Love the elegant setting, and the sweet addition of a chocolate treat at each place.
