Creating a space where creativity flows freely starts with simple organization and clever craft space ideas—and the right storage solutions can make all the difference. For me, crafting is more than just a hobby; it’s my way to unwind and let my imagination take over. But nothing disrupts that peaceful flow faster than a messy, chaotic craft area.

In our family, crafting is something my kids and I love to do together. So setting up a dedicated space to keep all of our suppplies seemed like a no-brainer.

A well-organized crafting space could be anything from a table and shelves in a specific place in your home or an entire room with a place for all of your supplies to call home. Great craft space ideas also don’t have to break the bank. There are so many storage desks and rolling carts available you can easily find one that will fit your needs and your budget.

Whether you are painting masterpieces or completing a school project with glitter and glue, your family’s creativity will thrive when you don’t have to hunt down exactly what you need to complete the job.

Craft Space Ideas

I needed a crafts table, but I also needed a cabinet for crafts, so of course I turned to the Queen herself, Martha Stewart for inspiration. I scoured all of her craft room ideas and unfortunately, Martha is missing exactly what I needed!

After I didn’t find any products that suited our needs, I thought, surely I can’t be the only person needing a round-up of the numerous options available to get your craft supplies in order.

So, I’m diving into my favorite craft tables, storage, and craft organization ideas to create a space you love!

What to Look for in a Craft Table

When deciding which craft table works for your family, consider your needs. What tools, equipment, and supplies do you frequently use and need? Does your table need to fold up so it can be tucked away? Do you need outlets? What kind of storage works best? These are all good questions to ask your self before making your final decision.
