What’s in White Wine Chicken?
It’s made with chicken breasts, butter, shallots, capers, herbs and of course, wine!

You can use your favorite white wine and enjoy the remainder of the bottle, but white cooking wine will also do. Use a crisp or wine with high acidity that isn’t sweet.
I recommend selecting a Pinot Grigio, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc or an unoaked Chardonnay. Cooking wine only has 5% alcohol whereas a bottle of wine will generally have between 10-13% alcohol.
The alcohol in the wine evaporates while cooking (filling your kitchen with a beautiful aroma) leaving the chicken to soak up all the flavor.
