Baked Brie is seasonless. There’s just something amazing that happens to brie when it’s melted to it’s buttery goodness.

This version of baked brie and preserves in bite-sized form feels a little more spring and is just as easy! While I make this often when entertaining, we also snack on these for casual evenings at home.

Baked brie is such a classic appetizer, and it always goes down well with guests. Because this recipe is made with ready made phyllo shells, it only takes 5 minutes to prep.

To Make This Brie and Preserves Appetizer, You Will Need:

  • Phyllo Shells – You can buy ready made phyllo shells in your local store, they make these appetizers so quick and easy to make.
  • Brie – I like to use a good quality triple cream brie for this recipe which has a really decadent and creamy texture.
  • Preserves – You can use your favorite preserves for this recipe, they will work really well! We love this with apricot, blackberry and raspberry!

Serve it With

If entertaining, I like to serve these on a large platter along with some of my other favorite easy apps like Spinach Dip Bites and Cheese and Prosciutto Crescent Rolls. I like to serve them with two or three different preserves so that people can pick and choose.

Wine Pairing

When it comes to entertaining, I do like to serve a wine that will compliment the food. Brie pairs really well with an acidic white wine like chardonnay. If you prefer red wine, then a good cabernet Franc will also work well.
