I love evenings at home with wine, cheese, fruits & crackers – especially when they’re melted together into fantastic little bites. Spring & summer always remind me of snacking on the frot porch with strawberries & sugar. I combined two of my favorite things to make strawberry brie bites, which are incredible hand held appetizers.
I always have at least one package of phyllo shells in my freezer. If I’m really lucky, there may be ice cream in there too, but it’s an otherwise lonely place. Phyllo shells are great for last-minute entertaining. They can be used for breakfast/brunch, appetizers & desserts. Strawberry brie bites fall under all of the above!
It seems so simple that I’m slightly embarrassed to call it a recipe. Here are the easy details:
Strawberry Brie Bites | Easy Appetizer RecipePrint Pin Rate
- 1 box phyllo shells
- 1/4 round of brie
- 1/2 package of strawberries sliced & quartered
- 1/2 c sugar
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Slice & cube brie & fill shells.
- Toss strawberries in sugar & top phyllo shells.
- Bake 8 minutes & enjoy!
