Margaritas are Chris’ favorite cocktail and we love to cool off with them on the dock at our lake cottage. After a few attempts, I perfected the most refreshing dessert-inspired margarita around- a margarita float that doesn’t require a mix, but also doesn’t require any more effort than a mix.
To be honest, I never knew I loved lime so much! I couldn’t keep my spoon out of the sorbet, or my mouth. A salted rim, tequila, water and lime sorbet and you’re on your way to the most refreshing cocktail ever.
I taste tested a few to do my due diligence. As the sorbet melts, you get the most delicious traditional margarita there is, but if you’re impatient like me, just dip your spoon into the sorbet and get equal parts liquid and enjoy!
