Gourmet Grilled Cheese

I’ll admit, I eat like a kid!  Every day for lunch, I make a pb&j on toast, a grilled cheese {with gouda} or grilled cheese with bacon because it’s fast, easy and is delicious.  Jenny Steffens Hobick recently posted her versions of these favorites.  It inspired me to share mine!
The only thing out of the ordinary for my grilled cheese is the type of cheese I use.  I prefer gouda, gruyere or cheddar to give it great flavor.  I butter and the bread and put each butter side down with a slice of cheese on it and when it’s finished, put the sandwich together.  This way, the cheese gets really gooey!  I usually use 45 calorie/slice wheat bread with Light Land O’Lakes butter to trim a few calories.
This grilled cheese was made on Fervere bread {AMAZING} leftover from Adalyn’s First Birthday party.  I have to say, bread makes a difference.  The cheese seeps in – a real treat!
