Frequently Asked Questions

Is sour cream healthy?

Sour cream is generally considered to be a wholesome addition to most diets. However, it’s best that all dairy products are consumed in moderation.

Does freezing sour cream ruin it?

As noted in the storage section of this post below, it’s not recommended to freeze sour cream. While it doesn’t go bad, freezing (and de-thawing) does change the texture.

  1. Sounds really good. I am wondering if you have you ever added softened cream cheese to the sour cream? Just wondering because it sounds good in my head, but I don’t want to waste the ingredients if it doesn’t taste good. hahaha.
