These creampuffs take just 10 minutes hands on time and are perfect for those who want a little something sweet but not too sweet. These creampuffs are perfect for entertaining. They can be made into bite-size treats. Make as few or many as you want!
If I’m not serving the creampuffs immediately, I prep them by making and refrigerating the cream and baking the puffs. I allow them to slightly cool before filling them with cream, but if I’m serving later, I wait to fill them until just before we’re ready to enjoy.
You can serve them with strawberries, raspberries, a dusting of powdered sugar or even a drizzle of chocolate sauce – you truly cannot go wrong! The flaky pastry pairs perfectly with the slightly sweet cream.
- Roll out your puff pastry.
- Cut into squares.
- Bake.
- Meanwhile make cream.
- Fill with cream. {I keep disposable pastry bags on hand because, let’s face it, I bake a lot more often than I should, but you can also cut the tip of a ziplock bag for pretty puffs or drop a dollop by the spoonful. Just try to resist licking the spoon, alright?}
- Enjoy!
I hope you enjoy these sweet cream puffs!

My coworkers refer to these things as puff pastry crack. I made it once because of how short the list of ingredients were and short the directions are about three months ago. I only tweaked it a bit by adding vanilla flavoring. Never had anything requested over and over more. Easy, elegant, delicious, light, and addictive on so many levels.
So glad you enjoy them, too! PS I loooove vanilla as well. Thank you so much for coming back to share!
Cream puffs are such a fun and delicious treat!
