Last year, one of Adalyn’s favorite sayings was “corn on the cob!” She manages a Southern accent, though we have no idea where it comes from. Really, it doesn’t matter – it’s just darling & it’s one of my favorite summer sides! When I grill, I like to cook everything from appetizers to desserts on the grill. It makes dinner {& entertaining} really quick & easy, all while I’m enjoying some fresh air on our patio.

Strip the corn of husks & silk. Rinse well. Many suggest to remove the silk & leave the husks. I have always done it this way & love how tender & juicy the corn is. Lightly brush the corn with butter or olive oil. Heat the grill on medium. If you’re cooking something hotter, put the corn off to the side or back where it won’t receive quite as much heat. Grill for 10-12 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes. Enjoy!

The girls have really enjoyed our patio nights – especially because I’m more inclined to serve dessert – outside!
