I embrace all things fall. The flavors of my favorite foods, the scent of a cool breeze and the vastly changing color palette.

It just feels special – everyone is outdoors, getting together for various activities and it tends to feel busier than ever, but I love every minute of it.

I love to cook and have friends over, but I don’t always have time to plan, shop and prepare a meal. Rather than schedule a dinner party months in advance, I prefer to take a fresh approach to hosting friends. That’s where this apple centerpiece comes in!

Today I’m sharing the simplest fall entertaining idea – a fabulous apple centerpiece that anyone can make. Bonus: you can make it under 10 minutes, too!

  1. Place your fabric down the center of your table to create a table runner, as a backdrop for the centerpiece. Inexpensive cheesecloth makes a beautiful tablecloth and sets a soft tone

  • Freeze fresh cranberries for a beautiful glistening touch at each place setting, as pictured.
  • Always use unscented candles for table centerpieces, so the fragrance doesn’t compete with the aroma of the food.
  • Try battery-operated pillar candles if you’d like! Sources below.
  • Need to spend less on your apple centerpiece? Use greenery clippings from your own backyard!

  • Any seasonal fruit will work for this centerpiece. Think about pomegranates, pears, clementine oranges, and more!
  • If you want to preserve this look from season to season, choose dried apples and even preserved seeded eucalyptus. Find these in the sources section at the end of this guide!
