This easy last minute Thanksgiving centerpiece can be created in just five minutes, with a trip to the grocery store.
It’s completely fuss-free, which puts guests at ease. So don’t fret any unexpected guests, enjoy them!
I am always working at the last minute to put something together. I had to remind myself that I didn’t start my blog to share tablescapes that I spent months planning or to share unattainable beauty.
I started it to share how we celebrate every day, encouraging you to do the same with ease.
Last Minute Thanksgiving Centerpiece Ingredients
- platter
- various votive/pillar candles
- seeded eucalyptus {my standby}
- pears
this is simple and lovely. love the blanket scarf!!!
I love this! It’s so attractive, yet not overwhelming and fussy looking. Such a breath of fresh air. I also love your wooden table and chairs. So cozy and rustic. Being a perfectionist, I usually imagine grandiose plans, but then never carry them through, knowing my friends and family (who aren’t into housey things) will just chuckle and roll their eyes. But this simple, lovely tablescape could never be scoffed at. I’m going to be looking for seeded eucalyptus and red pears! ๐
Thank you, Melanie! You are so kind. I can relate!
Julie – Beautiful table setting! Can you tell me where you found the blanket/scarf you have on display? Thanks!
Target! It’s actually called a cozy blanket scarf. I just use it as a throw blanket.
I really appreciate what you said about fuss free entertaining putting guests at ease. It’s so true. Sometimes, even though I know better, I get caught up worrying about whether my home is guest ready when welcoming and enjoying my friends and family is the point, not perfection. Your centerpiece looks beautiful. I’m going to have to check my local grocery store for seeded eucalyptus. Is that where you found it?
It is! We put entirely too much pressure on ourselves and it’s completely uneccessary. Your family and friends want you to enjoy it, too!
I purchase it at both Trader Joe’s and our local grocery store. Sometimes you have to ask for it (they’ll keep it behind the counter), but it’s really inexpensive.
love the rustic simplicity- it’s so beautiful and the natural colors are all it needs!
Thanks, Cassie!
