Elegant Dining Table for Thanksgiving

A couple of weeks ago, I guest posted for Better Homes and Gardens Style Spotters blog, sharing my tips for hosting a beautiful and relaxed Thanksgiving. I had an extremely difficult time just sharing a few photographs of the elegant dining table for Thanksgiving. Today, I’m sharing all of the details beautifully captured by Jenny Wheat. Here comes a little eye candy…
Floral arrangements by Volante Floral Design.
Using wood grain washi tape, I taped sprigs of rosemary for remembrance, a photograph of an old home on my grandparent’s property from my childhood, favorite quotes, family photos & a photograph of our old street in the Fall. It took just a few minutes and filled the void on the wall asThanksgiving dinner table decorations.

My antique dresser, filled with linens, topped with wispy flowers, found antlers and a pitcher of water add a rustic vibe to the Thanksgiving dinner table decorations.
If you’re in our home, you risk being gilded. I love my new stag head bottle topper!
And myself doing a few last minute Thanksgiving dinner table decoration touches…completely unprepared for the camera.
Have you printed my Thanksgiving word search yet?

Beautiful, as always! Quick question: What is the gold flatware pattern on the word search? I have been looking for some and really like that one.

Hi Pam!
Thanks for your comment! I wish I could give you a link, but this set was from West Elm, probably 8-10 years ago!
Have a beautiful week,
Julie

Hi Julie,
I just found your website and love it! Wondering where you found the golden bar cart? Something like that would be beautiful in my home!
Julie says
It was a piece I found on Craigslist, spray painted, and replaced mirrored glass with clear glass. You can find similar at Home Goods from time to time.

Really beautiful setting! I love having freshly cut flowers around the house, but don’t use them often enough.

Thanks Tanya! I’m making my centerpiece from a couple of inexpensive grocery store potted plants this week. They offer more stems for less. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
