I just can’t resist caramel. On a sundae or cheesecake, in barscookies & pies, or just {shhhh} on a spoon. I wanted to integrate caramel with another one if my favorites – wine. I knew they paired well together, but would it make a great chocolate? YES! It was love at first bite. And so today, I’m sharing my recipe for chocolate wine caramels. I’m so happy it feels like Valentine’s Day already!

I find so many candy recipes intimidating because they often require a thermometer. As distracted as I often am, I worry it will flop & I’ll have to start over or forgo it all together. Who has time for that? This recipe is foolproof, but yields indulgent chocolates that are simply irresistible.
