Ingredients
3
tomatillos
small, husked, rinsed, halved
1
Seranno chile pepper
de-stemmed
1
avocado
ripe, halved, seeded, peeled
¼
cup
cilantro
de-stemmed
½
lime
juice (approximately 1 tablespoon)
salt
to taste
Instructions
Husk, rinse and halve your tomatillos.
De-stem Serrano.Halve your avocado, de-seed and peel.
De-stem your cilantro.
Juice your lime.
Combine in food processor and pulse until the consistency is to your liking. Add salt to taste.
Serve with your favorite tortilla chips or veggies!
Notes
Make it Zesty - Add a teaspoon of minced garlic or half of a red or white onion.
Make it Creamy - Add a dollop of sour cream.
Omit Cilantro
Less Spicy - Use half of the Serrano chile pepper.
