Cream Cheese Mints
These cream cheese mints are so perfect to make and serve for the holidays, and they're great to gift to friends and family too! Quick and easy to make.

Ingredients
8
ounces
cream cheese
softened
2
tablespoons
butter
softened
1
teaspoon
peppermint
extract
5
cups
powdered sugar
food coloring
to preference
Instructions
In a large bowl or mixer combine cream cheese, butter and peppermint until smooth.
Gradually add powdered sugar.
Divide mixture and dye to preference.
Using an icing bag or a ziplock with a corner cut, pipe onto a parchment lined baking sheet OR roll into balls and press onto lined baking sheet.
Allow to dry 24 hours to firm. Store refrigerated up to 2 weeks.
Notes
It's best to not use liquid food coloring for this recipe, use a paste or gel instead so that you don't add too much liquid to the mixture.
Make the mints several days ahead of time and store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Experiment with different flavors and colors, this recipe is so easy to make personal.
You can mix the ingredients together by hand or in a stand mixer. The dough should be well combined and stiff.
You can freeze the mints for up to 6 months. Freeze them in an airtight container with the layers separated with parchment.
