This flag shaped funfetti dip is the cutest way to add a little patriotic flair to your Fourth of July dessert display! It’s the cutest red white and blue snack and it’s great for patriotic parties.
In a medium mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine funfetti cake mix, powdered sugar, vanilla and cream cheese until smooth. Additional sprinkles optional.

Refrigerate 30+ minutes.
Using a spatula drop 2 large balls of dough onto a platter to form a large rectangle. It doesn't have to be perfect.
In a small mixing bowl combine butter, powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
½ cup salted butter, 2½ cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk
Spread icing onto cheeseball covering all sides.
Add candy coated chocolate to create a flag.
candy coated chocolate (M&Ms)
Refrigerate until serving. Serve with graham crackers, cookies and fruits.
Notes
For best results, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes after forming your flag shaped block. This allows the cream cheese to firm back up enough that you can spread your frosting much more easily!
If you're adding m&ms for the flag look in these images, wait until just before serving so you don't get as much bleed from the moisture in the refrigerator.
Store for up to three days, tightly wrapped in the refrigerator.

Storage Notes
Leave this Funfetti dip flag out for serving up to two hours. To refrigerate, cover tightly and store in refrigerator for up to a week safely. I don’t recommend freezing this because the consistency will change.
