Prep - Rinse strawberries and blot dry. Remove the stem and chop to desired size. Transfer to a small serving bowl.
Prepare - Evenly sprinkle sugar over the top and gently stir with a spoon until well combined.Refrigerate 30 minutes or longer to allow sugar dissolve.
Serve - Stir and serve with chocolate chips (keep chilled), cinnamon chips, tortilla chips or pretzel thins.

Firm - To maintain a firm consistency (similar to pico de gallo), chop strawberries slightly larger.
Juicy - For juicier salsa, chop strawberries into smaller pieces.
Substitution
Replace sugar with 1 Tablespoon honey.
