These chocolate peanut butter brownies really are to die for! These brownies are made from scratch and only take 10 minutes to make. They are rich and chocolatey and the perfect balance of salt and sweety.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk to combine flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
1 cup all-purpose flour, ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa, ½ teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt
In a large mixing bowl, whisk to combine oil, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs until just combined. Using a rubber spatula, gradually fold in dry mixture until well combined.
1 cup vegetable oil, 2 cups white granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 4 large eggs
Pour mixture into baking dish and place in the center of preheated oven. Bake 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
Peanut Butter Topping
In large mixing bowl or mixer fitted with the whisk attachment on low, combine peanut butter and gradually add powdered sugar until smooth. On low speed, add milk and beat until smooth. Add an additional tablespoon of milk at a time as needed until you achieve the desired consistency. Pipe or spread onto cool brownies and garnish with peanut butter cups.
