Phyllo Brownie
Make an ordinary brownie an extraordinary dessert using phyllo! It's a delicious twist you can't resist!

Ingredients
1⅓
cup
white granulated sugar
½
cup
powdered sugar
sifted
⅔
cup
cocoa powder
sifted
¾
cup
all purpose flour
½
teaspoon
salt
2
eggs
½
cup
vegetable oil
or canola oil
2
tablespoons
water
1
teaspoon
vanilla
phyllo dough
thawed
3
tablespoons
butter
melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease 9x9 baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine sugars, cocoa powder, flour and salt.
Add eggs, oil, water and vanilla until just combined.
Pour batter into baking dish and bake 30 minutes (you want them solid, but slightly underbaked) Allow to cool and cut into squares.
Trim and wrap each brownie in 2 sheets of phyllo dough. Place on baking sheet and brush with melted butter.
Bake 10 minutes. Serve warm.
Notes
How to Store
At Room Temperature - Store in an airtight container up to 3 days. Brush with butter, warm and serve.
Serving Suggestions
With a scoop of ice cream, strawberry, chocolate or caramel syrup, with candied nuts, or whipped cream.
