Ingredients

1 cup butter softened, salted or unsalted
1½ cup white granulated sugar
3 eggs
2 cups all purpose flour
¾ cup milk
2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions

Grease pan and preheat oven to 300 degrees.
In a mixing bowl, beat butter until light in color (about 3 minutes). Gradually incorporate sugar and beat until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time and blend in on low.
Alternate adding flour and milk, add vanilla until smooth.
Fill pan 3/4 full and bake for 20-30 minutes {use toothpick test to confirm}.
Allow to cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
