½limequartered into wedges or 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) lime juice
1 ouncesimple syrup(2 tablespoons) or 2 teaspoons white granulated sugar
In a cocktail shaker, muddle strawberries, mint leaves, lime wedges, and simple syrup.
Strain into serving glass, add rum and ice. Top off with club soda and stir.
Garnish with sprig of mint, lime wedge, and strawberries.
How to Make Simple SyrupCombine equal parts sugar and water over medium heat until sugar is dissolved. Store in refrigerator for up to one month. OptionalIf preferred, you can purée the strawberries first in a food processor, then add them when you add the rum, simple syrup, and ice.
