Ingredients

  • 10 oz. pasta
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • ½ small shallot
  • ½ clove of garlic
  • 1 thick slice of ham cubed {about 1/3 lb}
  • 1 c heavy cream
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp white pepper
  • ½ tsp white truffle oil
  • ¼ lb gouda shredded
  • ½ cup peas drained - not shown
  • ½ cup shredded/sliced white cheddar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Bring a pot of water to a boil & prepare noodles al dente.
  2. Saute butter, shallots, garlic & ham over medium-low heat.
  3. Add cream & bring to a boil.
  4. Whisk in truffle oil, salt, pepper & gouda.
  5. Strain noodles & stir into sauce with peas.
  6. Add cheddar & bake 10 minutes.
