In a large mixing bowl/mixer, begin to beat heavy cream with whisk attachment on low. Gradually increase speed until stiff.
Reduce speed and gradually add powdered sugar, followed by peppermint.
Serve immediately or refrigerate and serve.
Powdered Sugar - Also known as confectioner's sugar it sweetens the dip while giving it luxurious texture. If you don't have powdered sugar, pulse white granulated sugar in a food processor until light and fluffy.
Crushed Peppermint - Adds flavor and crunch to this dip. Crush candy canes also work well.
With fresh fruit, fruit skewers, pound cake bites, brownie bites and cheesecake bites. On top of pies, cheesecakes and brownies.
Use cold cream.
Refrigerate - Refrigerate in an airtight container. Best used within 4 hours to maintain volume. Stir and serve.
Freeze - Freeze in an airtight container up to 3 months.
