A luxuriously creamy peppermint dip that is full of flavor and packs a delightful peppermint crunch! Serve as a candy cane dip with your favorite fruits, cookies, crackers or as a topping on hot chocolate, brownies, cakes and more!
In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat heavy cream on low. Gradually increase speed until stiff peaks form.
Reduce speed to low and gradually add powdered sugar. Add crushed peppermint until just combined.
Serve with fresh fruits, cakes, brownies, cookies, crackers and pretzels or on top of your favorite desserts and drinks.

Substitutions
Powdered Sugar - Also known as confectioner's sugar it sweetens the dip while giving it luxurious texture. If you don't have powdered sugar, pulse white granulated sugar in a food processor until light and fluffy.
Cool Whip - Substitute heavy cream and powdered sugar by blending crushed peppermint into Cool Whip or your favorite whipped topping.
Tips
For best results, use cold cream and chilled mixing bowl.
Do not over-whip.
You can purchase crushed peppermint sticks, but be sure it's not crushed butter peppermint (it appears the same, but has a different chalky texture).
