Strawberry Lemon Mimosa Recipe

This strawberry and lemon mimosa is a wonderfully light and refreshing champagne cocktail that you can make in a matter of minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon strawberry puree
  • 2 ounces lemonade
  • 3 ounces champagne

Instructions

  • Strawberry puree: in a food processor, add hulled and washed strawberries and puree.
  • In a glass, add strawberry puree, followed by lemonade.
  • Top off with champagne and serve.

Notes

  • Be sure to chill your champagne before you add it to these cocktails.
  • I garnished these cocktails with a slice of lemon, but you could also use a sliced or whole strawberry. A slice of lime also makes a great addition and works well with the strawberry and lemon.
  • Pop a fresh bottle of champagne for these cocktails, the champagne starts to loose it's fizz as soon as air is introduced to it.
