Sprinkled Toffee Homemade Valentine's Candy

Ingredients

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • ½ c butter
  • 1 c brown sugar packed
  • 1 bag miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Line cookie sheet with a sleeve of saltine crackers.
  3. In a saucepan on medium, combine butter and brown sugar. Stir continuously for 5 minutes. When it comes to a boil, slowly pour mixture over crackers and spread with a spatula. {It doesn't have to be perfect!}
  4. Bake 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips, allow a minute or two to melt, smoothing the chocolate with a spatula.
  6. Top with sprinkles.
  7. Once it has completely set {you can refrigerate to speed the process}, cut or break into pieces.
