Bottom Layer:

  • 6 Tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1/2 c brown sugar packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 c flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder


  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 6 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 3 1/2 c powdered sugar plus extra to dust


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper
  2. Combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, salt, flour and baking powder in a mixing bowl. Pour into prepared baking dish.
  3. Combine cream cheese, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and powdered sugar and pour onto bottom layer.
  4. Bake 55-60 minutes until it jiggles just slightly. Allow to cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
