Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed according to instructions
  • 11 oz goat cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp honey {or to taste}

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Roll thawed pastry on a floured surface.
  3. Place goat cheese in the center of the puff pastry and fold it over to cover cheese, trimming excess, tucking and pinching dough to seal.
  4. Beat egg and water in a small dish. Brush pastry with the mixture to coat all sides.
  5. Bake 20 minutes or until golden and drizzle with honey. Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.
