Ingredients

  • 3 c red grapes removed from stems
  • 1 - 2 c red wine
  • 3 Tbsp sugar

Instructions

  • Place grapes in a bowl and cover with wine. Allow to marinate refrigerated for 12+ hours.
  • Drain grapes, toss in sugar and freeze 2 hours.

Notes

The wine you choose will greatly vary the flavor of your marinated grapes. You can use your favorite red wine, but if you want a sweet flavor, use a sweet red wine or Port.

The longer you marinate them, the more flavor they will have. I recommend 12-24 hours for the best results.

When not coated in sugar, they make the perfect “ice cubes” to keep your wine chilled on a hot summer day.
