Last week my husband and I escaped for a romantic week in Napa and Sonoma.  Over the next several days, I’ll be sharing highlights of our trips including inspirations and ideas I have brought back with me.  We enjoyed beautiful days of tastings, tours, shopping, and of course, dining.  Well, every trip has a beginning.  Some grander than others.  This vacation started with a drive over the Golden Gate Bridge.
Oops…that’s the hazard of self portraits
On the second day, my husband said he was taking me to breakfast.  While true, that was after we traveled 16 miles over Napa Valley at up to 2,400 feet.  He opted to stay in the inner area of the balloon to keep the pilot company.  The views were breathtaking, the weather was amazing and it was a clear day.  A great overview of the valley!
I cannot begin to describe the beautiful views, miles of vineyards, fields of mustard {below}, and even snow capped mountains.
Love is in the air!  Below, you see me walking away after landing.  We brushed a few trees, but came out unscathed!

I look forward to sharing more with you!
