Frosted Apple Butter Cookie

butter oil apple butter sugar vanilla eggs flour salt cream of tartar baking soda apple cider

Ingredients

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine butter, oil, apple butter, sugars and vanilla until smooth.

Step 2

Blend in eggs. Add flour, salt, cream of tartar and baking soda until just blended.

Step 3

Refrigerate dough covered for 1+ hour. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Step 4

Roll dough into 1″ balls. Bake 8 minutes and allow to cool before icing with apple butter icing.

Step 5

In a medium mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine butter, apple butter, apple cider and powdered sugar until smooth.
