Ingredients

pasta basil pine nuts minced garlic olive oil red pepper flakes parmesan cheese  salt and pepper

Step 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, and prepare pasta al dente.

Step 2

Add ingredients to a food processor or blender to make pesto and pulse until it reaches the desired consistency. 

Step 3

Reserve one cup of pasta water and strain noodles. Return to pot, and toss with sauce. Use pasta water to thin if needed. 

Step 4

Top with fresh, grated Parmesan, salt and pepper to taste.
