Updating Decor for Spring

Alright, I know it’s late January, but I’m already dreaming about easy ways to update my home for Spring. I always justify this by Valentine’s being such a bright and colorful holiday. However, I can’t justify spending a lot of money to transition our home with the seasons, so, here are my simple and inexpensive ideas.
Change your artwork. The hydrangea above is a free printable via Graphics Fairy. I print this on a great card stock with this method or on book cloth with this method.
Update your throw. For Spring / Summer, I plan to use an oversized turkish towel. It’s lightweight and less expensive than most of the alternatives. This one is via LarkMade.
A new candle adds a new color and fresh new scent. Available at Anthropologie.
I also plan to change out the winter cable knit pillow cover with an ivory linen one I already have. A few simple and inexpensive updates will give our hearth room an entirely different feel. For the exterior, I’ll simply update the ribbon on my boxwood wreath. I’ll also change the pillow cases and at least one throw in the living room, add a few Spring elements to our bookcases and a floral arrangement. It doesn’t get any easier! I look forward to sharing our Spring home with you in a few weeks!
