Update a Basic Wreath

I adore staples, but I can become slightly bored with them, too. You can bring a wreath to life and give it a completely different look by adding something organic. It’s a quick, easy and beautiful way to update a basic.

Our large magnolia wreath is one of my favorites. It’s looks more authentic than most faux wreaths and is substantial in size, making it a great fit for our front door, breakfast room window and behind the bar cart.
I try to consider versatility before making purchases. Can it be used in multiple spaces? How many different ways can I use it? It helps us maintain a clutter free home and have minimal storage.
To update a basic wreath you’ll need:

fresh fruit {berries are beautiful, too}
small skewers
1. Insert one end of the skewer 3/4 into the fruit.

2. Insert into holes of wreath or near leaves, at an angle.
Fresh fruit can last for days, depending on the weather conditions. It’s a beautiful way to add a pop of color and transition it with seasons.

This is a beautiful wreath. Where can I get something like this? Thanks.

Mine is from Balsalm Hill, but I have seen them at Lowe’s and most big-box stores tend to carry similar wreaths. Enjoy!
