Sunday Simmer

Good morning! I hope you’re having a great weekend. With beautiful weather here in Missouri we’ve been spending a lot of time outdoors. I was so excited to finally pick up a racquet again and play tennis, go for a long walk and most importantly, for the girls to burn off a little energy outdoors!

With warmer temperatures, we’ve also lightened up our menu a bit. The first of many seasonal recipes to come is this easy Lemon Basil Pasta Salad which is perfect for Mother’s Day brunch!

Opalhouse launched last week and I’m sharing my favorite finds as well as how we integrated them into our lake cottage that we’ve been updating this spring. We returned to our diy roots with this easy project last weekend.

This bath with unlacquered brass faucets, shower heads and more made my heart skip a beat. The monogrammed shade didn’t hurt either! I have had my eye on the same shower head for our impending master bathroom remodel.

This first birthday party is fit for a princess. It’s soft, serene and full of detail and it appears they used my DIY teepee tutorial.

Speaking of birthday parties, my friend Courtney planned a darling Golf Partee filled to the brim with ideas.

Have you ever wondered if you can mix finishes? Centsational Girl shows you how.

The Minimalist Kitchen was released this week and I can’t wait to implement so many of Melissa’s ideas into our own kitchen. You can get your copy here {affiliate link}.

If you’re a fan of Key Lime, you have to try this fudge! It’s so beautiful, too!

I’ll be back this week with a new Modern Calligraphy Series, don’t miss the subscriber only printables that correlate with the videos and tutorials!
