Puppy Bowl Party Ideas

Y’all, I have the best job ever! Not only do we get to watch and celebrate the Puppy Bowl, but the girls and I got to celebrate over the weekend by watching last year’s highlight reel as well!
I have created some simple crafts for you and your kiddos for your very own Puppy Bowl watch party!

I am so excited to partner with BISSELL, a sponsor of the Puppy Bowl because they share my passion in pet rescue and adoption and all the pups playing in the big game are rescues. Last year, BISSELL donated over a million dollars to the BISSELL Pet Foundation to help pets in shelters and rescues. Our MVP, Dusty, is a shih-tzu terrier mix Chris and I adopted just after we married almost 11 years ago! Pet adoption has always been close to my heart because there are so many sweet pups {not to mention cats and other critters} that are desperate and deserving of finding their forever homes. Just before we entered the shelter, Chris reminded me that we didn’t have to take him home. I walked in, took one look at him licking another dog’s wounds and knew he would be the perfect addition to our family.

Let’s get this party started, shall we? The girls were so excited to join in on the Puppy Bowl party prep. First up, puppy ears!

How to make puppy ears:
Supplies:

felt
glue {tacky or hot glue}
scissors
headbands
Instructions:

Fold over a piece of felt and cut 2 duplicate – doesn’t have to be perfect. My girls preferred long droopy ears.

Glue the top of the ear to the headband.

How to make Ruff and Fluff pennant flags:
Supplies:
felt
craft dowels
glue {tacky or hot glue}
scissors
Instructions:
Fold a piece of felt in half and cut along that line.

Fold and press the top corner of the felt to the bottom corner of the felt to create a pennant, cut along those lines. This one will serve as a template for future pennants.
On the left side of the pennant, make a glue strip and adhere to a dowel.
